Not sure where to begin? Below I will walk you through the process and point out some classes that you may find most useful.

So what’s CreativeLive?

CreativeLive is an amazing site that streams live courses from some of the best instructors in the world for FREE! That’s right you can watch world class photographers, artists, and other subject matter experts share their knowledge at no cost to you! The class is free during the live broadcast, but if you miss some of it or you want to watch it again, you can purchase the class and have access to the recorded version any time that you want.

Why is Photoshop Week awesome?

Many of CreativeLive’s classes are multi day events lasting 6-8 hours a day. I don’t know about you, but it is pretty challenging to dedicate several days to watching a class on my computer. It is much more realistic for me to watch pieces of the class and get an idea if I want to purchase the whole thing.

That being said, Photoshop Week’s classes are much shorter. These classes are around 1 hour and 45 minutes. That is a length that I can easily fit into my schedule. There are 39 classes that will be broadcasted for free from February 22-29.

I have taken a look through the list and here are the classes that I am most excited about watching:

Aaron Nace is an AMAZING teacher and when it comes to Photoshop and composites, he really knows his stuff. Ever heard of the education site Phlearn?Aaron is the guy behind it. These two classes look very interesting.

Not sure if you know this, but I went to Brooks Institute of Photography back in 2008 for about a year. While there, Chris Orwig was one of my Photoshop/Lightroom Lab instructors. He is an incredible teacher and if you are looking to fully understand the Power of RAW processing, I think you may really enjoy these classes.

There are a wide range of courses offered throughout the week. Here are a few more that you may find interesting.

These are just a few of the many courses that you can check out next week! The beauty of this is that if you are able to watch while live, the course is absolutely free! If you really like the course and can’t make the whole thing, there is a 30-35% discount if you pre-order the course.

Want all 39 courses? CreativeLive offers 50% off the entire 39 course bundle if you pre-order.

Regardless whether you purchase a course or not, I do hope you can watch some next week! It is FREE to register and this is a great opportunity to improve your Photoshop and Lightroom skills!
